The Hub Middletown: A Best Western Signature Hotel

I’ve stayed here four times now, and the experience is always excellent. From check-in to check-out, everything runs smoothly. Friendly staff, great location and always a comfortable stay.

5 Stars – Shelter from the Storm at the Hub Motel The Hub Motel in Red Bank isn’t some plastic chain boxed in by conference rooms and continental breakfast. It’s a real-deal roadside sanctuary—an honest place for honest travelers. I rolled in late, brain scrambled from a Turnpike crawl and the kind of humidity that makes a man question his life choices. But then—there it was. The Hub. Neon glowing like a lighthouse for the road-weary. First surprise: the room. Modern, sharp, and updated with intention. Clean lines, fresh paint, all the plugs in the right places. But still just enough age clinging to the corners—an honest little scrape on the trim here, a whisper of the ’70s there—to remind you this place has seen some things. And survived. The bed was solid, the AC blew just cold enough, and the whole space felt safe and still. A moment of peace, finally, without a front desk lecture or overpriced minibar. And then there’s the pool—damn near perfect. Clean, clear water, with modern loungers that don’t buckle when you sit down and umbrellas that actually function. You could lose an afternoon out there and feel like you gained something. And when hunger strikes? You’re right next door to an Outback Steakhouse. No Uber, no traffic, just a stroll across the parking lot and you’re elbows-deep in a Bloomin’ Onion with a cold beer to chase it. I mean, come on—this is living. The Hub Motel doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s honest, sharp around the edges, and deeply functional. If you need a clean, comfortable landing spot with a great pool and a steakhouse you can walk to in under 60 seconds—this is your place. Five stars. With gratitude.

Amazing hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived until checkout. Very cozy, clean, and beautiful. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always happy to help. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. We left with only the best impressions and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Daytime staff here is excellent, but Brianna truly stands out. She runs a tight ship with genuine care for both her team and—most importantly—the guests. Her leadership shows in every detail, and it’s clear she has elevated this location to a higher standard. The hotel is clean, welcoming, and draws a great crowd of consumers. Maria on the cleaning staff is an angel—smart, proactive, and always a step ahead. Breakfast is another highlight, managed by a staff member who was tremendously helpful and incredibly kind. This place is a model of hospitality done right. Highly recommended. Great job, Brianna and team—good stuff, Hub!

Awesome hotel! Everything was spot on from when we got there until we left. Super cozy homey experience! The staff was really nice and helpful, always happy to help out! Totally recommend it! (And they let you rent a room even if you're under 21, which most chain hotels don't)

My favorite part of staying here is the breakfast. I also liked having outback steakhouse next door. I like that since it was not the busy summer season, the room rates were reasonable. The least favorite is that the wifi worked well enough to allow streaming to the tv, but not quite well enough to prevent pixelation. There were only a handful of people staying in the place, so not due to congestion. The rooms were nice. The bathrooms needed some maintenance work on them like working exhaust fan, which they will probably have completed by end of 2026. The shower head has adjustable stream selector and somebody selected an in between setting. Since, I was not tall enough to change it, I had to call maintenance to do it. Maintenance was quick to respond to our needs.

Stayed 3 nights in February, 2026. Last minute booking - in town to assist a family member - just walked in, asked the desk clerk (very friendly, efficient and helpful) if they had rooms and checked-in. Very reasonable rate as compared to other hotels in the area. Also received a better rate in-person than I would have on travel sites, but I checked the travel sites to confirm room availability before going there. Very clean. Very quiet. Free breakfast (coffee was hot, strong and delicious!). I was there with snow on the ground so I cannot comment as to pool and landscaping, but the location is really convenient. Staff was terriffic.
